On April 15, 2026, the Judge presiding over Jamie's case against Maricopa County for an inadequate response to her Public Records Request provided his initial thoughts on the case and determines that an Evidentiary Hearing was necessary.

Court Document

On April 14, 2026, the Arizona Superior Court for Maricopa County issued a document titled, Evidentiary Hearing Set. This document provided some of the Judge's initial thoughts on the case based upon the briefings submitted by the Plaintiff and Defendants. A final decision would be made following the Evidentiary Hearing.
